Due to a twist of fate a decade ago, we were named Édessa, after a town in Northern Greece. We are still playing passionate, high-energy music from the southern Balkans, in the style of working bands from that area, i.e., long sets with lots of improvisation between melodies, and a beat with dancers in mind.
